I HATE THE WINDOWS LIVE MOVIE MAKER 2011 !!!!!

WHY DOES MICROSOFT THINK IT HAS TO TAKE A PERFECTLY SIMPLE AND INTUITIVE INTERFACE AND COMPLETELY REDESIGN IT INTO SOMETHING CONFUSING AND HARD TO USE?!

GAH!!!!!!

That is all. Carry on.

I know! I love the old move maker! I have made 2 videos this year, a graduation video from our cuz getting out of UT and another cuz' 2 year old bday party... both times... I added pictures AND video - this was NEVER a problem and they both loaded just fine... now in 2011 MM.... it puts some sort of weird time stamp overlay on all the pictures and I have to go into EACH PICTURE TO TAKE IT OUT??! Waffles?! Why?! I never had to do this on previous versions of MM..... Bums........ I'm with ya, Spiff!

Huzzah! There is hope! We are not alone in our assessment!

Here is a forum where folks lament the new movie maker! In here, they tell you how to get the old version 2.6 and the newer 6.0 version that came with Vista! I tried the later and it seems to work! http://forum.thewindowsclub.com/windows-tips-tutorials-articles/26951-how-get-back-old-movie-maker-windows-7-a.html

Here are the links to getting the older versions:
For version 2.6: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=34

For getting 6.0: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/35151-windows-movie-maker-6-0-install-windows-7-a.html

Microsoft needs to stop trying to "improve" things that work! If they want to make a dumb version for the masses, then fine... but don't take away features needed by people with brains! Sheesh!
