grin cool At last there might be a next MechWarrior. That new one, if made, will be greater. Full access to all vehicule (Tank, airplane, jeep...as battlemech to completely render a realistic futur fight.) will make it look like Battlefield 1942. Cool if it is made. Now, will it be sell in store or free to download on the internet. Just curious. Since it's a private group building it. I say WOW if it is complete someday. laugh cool cheesy

moar copy pasta:

Got some quick feedback from a developer....Here is the link...

http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,36/topic,1174.msg9351/#new

here is the copy...

Hey there,

welcome to the forums and thanks for your support!

1) Will users need to purchase Crysis in order to play the mod. ( I know...I know....but I want no ambiguity..lol)

Definitely, yes.

Quote from: Yardbird on Today at 01:33:12 PM
2) How big will the mod be....ball park guesstimate?

As it seems so far... quite big. Definitely more than 1GB, 1.5GB download.

Quote from: Yardbird on Today at 01:33:12 PM
3) Will there be a host service such as MS ZoneMatch?

As I have no experience with this, I'll have to stand back from answering the question.
There are several plans to provide a platform for matchfinding and matchcreation, but details haven't been cast in stone.

smileyAfter trying the demo of crysis, i decide to buy the game and i say it is cool. The graphic are incredible tho i saw bugs in it. First, i saw a guy down the hill being inside a truck at the automatic gun shoot position. Then he was in the air over his position relative to that truck, then at high altitude( 100 feets in the air) i decide to shoot it down. Then any AI who go to that automatic gun on that truck got fly up in the air when all the time this AI soldier was still on the ground so it couldnt shoot me back. Found other bug too. But globaly the game is good. Now, when will they have a patches that correct all those bug. That i dunno. Anyway, MechWarrior will be good in it if they build it carefully. If you ant to try the game then try the demo. You'll like it. Cya all. I'm back to the game. Still many maps to go trough. wink grin Game aint perfect yet! But i have great hope. shocked grin cheesy wink

shocked huh Tho the campaign in crysis is good grin. I enjoy it.
The multiplayers game is ... is ... uhhh hmmm... very stupid? undecided Realy those game are stupid. It's like playing slodierfront wich is a cheap game. I realy hope that if they build a MechWarrior game that it will be way better then that. cryI'm so deceive you cant possibly imagine cry.) Now i hope that microsoft will do something good. So i repeat, the game campaign is good but the multiplayers aint. Gee is the great PC game makers is over?. cry

The reason i dont like the multiplayers of crysis is that they use rank. More play and point give more rank. More rank give more credit to buy better weapon. BF2 is like that and soldierfront. So if you dont play often then you have access to cheaper weap. High rank have access to better weapon and then kill more easily.
BF1942 give everyone the same weapon and then pure skill make the difference. Mechwarrior is like that so is HALO. That is why i find those game better. I realy hope that their mechwarrior are like that too on multiplayers.
I want them to succeed cause i install their map makers (Sandbox2cryengine) kiss and i already have start making great graphic map for crysis. I'm starting so i need to read a lot before i master it. But the graphic are way good grin. If their mechwarrior is good then i will make map for it laugh. For now i enjoy piloting their vtol and helicopter for fun in my map lesson.(I play a bit more then i work. laugh cool smiley wink
Get the game if you can. It's good.

Actually, doum, you are missing some info, with rank in BF2 comes not better wepons, just different ones. it still really depends on you skill, you just have more options.
