Well..My favorite cereal when I was a kid was....

User Image

YES! Cookie Crisp! You know the one with the burglar being chased by the police officer right there on the front of the box!? It was the ultimate snack or even a MEAL! They use to be,notice I didn't say.."taste like", but use to actually be lil dried cookies you poured the milk on to bring them back to life and there you go! a bowl full of wonderful "cereal" to enjoy with no cares or worries!

Then along came the late 90s into early 2000 when low and behold Cookie Crisp was then unrecognizable!!

The box changed and so did the product! Now all you can find is that "good for you" crap they try passing off as Cookie Crisp! GRRR!

And whats up with the new mascot!? you tell me!?

User Image

So ...you can see why my favorite cereal is no more.... Looks like ill stick with my Cinnamon Toast Crunch! W00t!

Cookie Crisp in the 90s ftw! They tasted just like REAL Cookies! Not sure when they changed it to the Styrofoam disks they are today but it was nice while it lasted.

CAT BOY!

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2263881.ece

I could use this ability...

Quote:
A CAT-BOY has stunned medics with his ability to SEE in pitch black with eyes that GLOW in the dark.

Doctors have studied Nong Youhui’s amazing eyesight since his dad took him to hospital in Dahua, southern China, concerned over his bright blue eyes.

Dad Ling said: "They told me he would grow out of it and that his eyes would stop glowing and turn black like most Chinese people but they never did."

Medical tests conducted in complete darkness show Youhui can read perfectly without any light and sees as clearly as most people do during the day.

Experts believe he was born with a rare condition called leukodermia which has left his eyes with less protective pigment and more sensitive to light.

I guess so... I would have posted about it if I experienced it. I had dozed off at that time and didn't wake up until much later. I was reading a report about it on the local paper's web site and there were tons of people commenting about it. Many thought someone was trying to break into their house because it sounded like someone rattling the windows and doors.

My wife had also gone to bed early that night so the only one up at that time was my daughter. I asked her about it and she didn't notice anything different. Of course, she was probably listening to her playlists on the internet so it may have drowned out any sounds.

I've experienced the shuttle's boom and it was not like the reports that were coming in. The shuttle made a loud THUMP sound the last time I heard it. I thought someone had thrown something large against the house. Maybe the source of this latest boom was much closer.

I was very disappointed that I missed the whole event. Of course, if I was awake I might have been playing Venge and thought it was just another Long Tom exploding nearby.

Personally, I think it was Hancock.

We had several cases in San Diego when I was living there....I know what a sonic boom sounds like ( 2 years at sea on a Carrier..)...what I heard back then was a weird double or even triple sonic boom...

I think its the Aurora....
